Giving Gifts

The iEARN 2015 conference has so far offered an appreciable amount of shared knowledge, educational best practices, digital media story telling, and plenty of thought provoking conversation.

One thing that makes an iEARN conference singular is the emphatic and sincere spirit of collaboration and friendship that pervades interactions between attendees.

A hallmark of an iEARN conference are the impromptu gift exchanges that constantly seem to pop up out of the blue. You might be speaking with a colleague from Taiwan, and all of a sudden – as if out of nowhere – a gift! This post is a celebration of the gifts that are given, those who give them, and the happiness that they bring.

Below – wonderful capoeira demonstration during a cultural performance interlude in sessions. Addressing the audience, the leader of the troupe quite appropriately described the performance as a “gift for you from Brazil.”

Obrigado!
